does anybody have problem with the windows going automatically all the way down but when going up one has to hold the button up until it's closed.

Unfortunately the windows do not go up with one touch. You have to hold them on all challenger models.

That is not a problem. It is a feature. (Using corporate speak here).

I don't care about the auto down/up feature but the windows are so SLOW. Being from the 60s, I'm spoiled by my 69 Pontiac power windows which are super fast and would take off your hand (or anything else) if it was in the way when they closed.

Might have something to do with the fact that challenger doors have no window frames. <<< just a guess. Any other vehicles out there with auto up windows and no frames?

I always thought it was due to the frame less door myself. Until I noticed the Vipers have auto up.....and they have a frame less door as well. So I have no clue as to why they don't give the Challengers auto up.

No. No problem here. My finger does not tire from holding the button up. How do you open and close the windows in your house with no auto up and down let alone no buttons?

Yep thats one of the few complaints for me. Power tilt wheel that we dont need but something we use a lot more frequently is left out.

Matter of opinion...I would rather have the power tilt than the auto window up or down. Easier to adjust though you are right it is something we rarely use.

I wonder though if the power up is actually there but prevented from working by either mechanical or program? Fnkychkn probably remembers the hidden auto headlights feature in the early 2006 Chargers.

The brochures showed the auto head light to be an option but would not be available until mid model year. Someone discovered that if you cut a little clip on the light switch the switch would turn to the left and activate auto headlights.

Since the Charger has the auto up feature it may be built in to the Challenger but turned off......just a thought..
