not really an issue...but a concern

I had my local shop install ATI 10% OD pulley, and had it tuned with HP tuners
my baseline numbers on this dynojet was 675 rwhp, and 605 rwtq
after the ATI and tune I got 725 RWHP, and 632 rwtq

and here is the kicker, the car is only boosting 12 psi

I asked the shop what my baseline boost was but they cannot tell me. Ive read that most hellcat autos boost around 11, if that's the case the ATI only got me 1 lb of boost?

driving around I remember my dash gauge only read 10 psi, never over, which makes sense if I got 2 extra lbs from ATI, and gained about 50 rwhp I guess that sounds right?

I feel like most ATI OD do about 13-14 psi

im confused why my car is only producing 12 psi and my numbers are so low

BPV is 100% closed through out pulls, no belt slippage and balancer is pinned with procharger pin kit .

the shop keeps saying I need an intake and that will get me another 1/2-1 lb boost but all ive read is that the intakes are not really worth it, also how is an intake going to take my car from 12 lbs to 13.5 - 14?

any insight would be appreciated im kind of disappointed with my results, I know HP don't mean anything on a dyno, its the boost that is my concern, why only 12 lbs? or am I missing something and that's normal?

    any help would be appreciated.

I am thinking of doing a 2.85 upper along with the ATI, if im at 12 now and the 2.85 gets me another 3, that will put me at 15 psi, which I read is the limit for pump gas, would I need to go bigger injector for that? also concer is if the upper pushes me past 15 psi....

This is weird. I don't know much mechanically to help u but u should be getting around 14-15 psi. What is your elevation? If u were getting 10 before seems like u must be pretty high so maybe 12 is right. I dunno...

There are two part numbers for ATI pulley's, one is the 10% OD the other is the same as the OEM, with the 10% OD you should get 14-15 depending on location and weather, from the numbers it looks like you just have the tune HP and no boost increase.

Op what's your altitude! Someone in say Colorado might only see 9 pounds is boost on the stock pulley.

OPS is in Chicago... +600 or so, but cool dense air. When I talked to him earlier, we talked about the boost issue. It never occurred to me that the shop who did the work might of installed a stock size lower.

TOPCAT, they did have to trim the timing cover to get it to clear, this leads me to believe its 10% OD, or does OEM diameter require trimming also?

The OEM size should require no modifications, but the best way to verify is getting the part number they used.

TOP CAT im being told it is indeed a 10% OD pulley, what else could cause me to only get 12 psi, which like only 1/2 to 1 lb over stock..
    im told no belt slippage
im told BPV fully closed throughout pulls
    any ideas??

so what should I do....im thinking maybe just take it off, pin the stock crank pulley back on and do a 2.85 metco upper with tune
is it damaging to crank to remove the balancer again and putting original back on with pinning of course ?

No damage will happen if done properly. And do not re-use the old bolt. Each time the crank bolt is removed it should be discarded and replaced with a new bolt and torqued properly.

Leave the ATI on and do the Metco 2.85 have it tuned for a good 93 and just don't go crazy on the timing.
