Just took possession of my 2016 Hellcat Challenger and I'm in love all over again. She's black and beautiful and a rip to drive. Having owned lots of go fast cars over the years, from Vettes, Porches Street Rods (still have my Rod) and the like, I can honestly say that driving my Hellcat is the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel.

Congrats on the new cat. I've had similar cars including a 32 Ford 3 Window with a big block and quick change. I feel the same way as you do about my HC. :D

My rod is a 1930 Tudor, 350/350 turbo, Lokar, 9" rear, new rails and suspension, great paint...always does well at shows. ...fun, my HC is more fun!

Welcome and congratulations on your cat! Is it a M6 or A8?

I agree... I love my Cat. I was out driving it again today. We've had no snow here yet which is very unusual for us.

    Congrats on your new Hellcat.

Congrats on the Cat... would love to hear what and why you feel that way... sounds like you've had some really nice cars so you can give a honest comparison. To you... what is it that makes the Cat special?

Congrats on your hellcat. It was the 5th most exciting day of my life, after my children were born. (Just in case my wife checks the internet)

Mine is an A8, although I spent a lot of time trying to decide and opted for the faster and more convenient choice...there's always the paddles to play with if you really need to feel you're more important to the drive then just a heavy foot :)

Driving a 911 is a lot of fun and it takes a while to get used to the rear engine behavior of a light car like that. It has a lot of get up and go, but it doesn't have the raw explosive power of the Cat, hell there's not a lot of cars that do. I'm sure many have owned and driven Vettes, and they'll sure run, but I prefer the feel and the explosive power of the cat. My street rod is a roller skate with a big engine strapped on it and it will run, smoke tires do all that fun stuff, but the cat is designed to run like that all day and never let up if you find somewhere to do that.

The cat is tight and solid, very responsive...you can do a lot of things less then perfect and it will still blow the doors off of most anything on the road today. The cockpit feels perfect, like the car was made around you and not like you're fitting yourself into it. Dodge thought of just about everything and did everything right. I also love the way she looks sitting still or going all out.
