    from another thread...

    So, now I need a lift. :D

How and where are you guys jacking these cars up at home? Not sure my floor Jack will even squeeze under the chin of this car.

I use a floor jack from Costco, the rear is easy, put it under the big rubber sleeves just ahead of the rear tires. The front is more tricky, but look under the car and put it under the frame rails. I have seen someone says jack the back high enough and both back and front tires come off the ground, but I have not tried it yet, but I will try next week.

In the front, I have used my motorcycle jack to help lift the body a bit to get the floor jack under. Now, I just thought, my life becomes very complicated after I lower it next week also. May need a lower profile jack!

I bought myself a new set od 2-Piece 56" Race Ramps for doing my oil changes and for brake work I use a rapid lift aluminum jack from Harbor Freight-Part-#60569 for $89.99 and the Race Ramps check out part# RR56-2 for around $228 or best offer including free shipping on ebay.

I just ordered the RR56 ramps. This should be much easier than jacking up two sides of the car to crawl under. Thanks.
