Jay Leno just showed me something on the Cat

    I was watching an episode on Jay's Garage where he was giving a new Hellcat the once over. He mentioned that the Hellcat engine block is painted the original HEMI Orange. They used the exact paint code from 1969! So I opened my hood and looked and behold! Hemi Orange.

    If you compare the 392 and the 6.2 you'll see they are slightly different colors, but both are orange.

    I agree. My friends 392 Shaker is a lighter shade of Orange than my Hellcat.

    They have been painting the blocks orange since 2009. My 09 SRT 8 is painted orange.
