JLT catch can line collapse

    installed the JLT.....nice product BUT the flex hose from the valve cover (pcv valve) to the can is damn near completely flattened out in the radius at idle under full vacuum.....i know this condition is only under high vacuum but i am not liking seeing that hose suck down like that....i have tried rotating the hose a bit to change its position but still collapses....need a rigid plastic curved line or a 90 degree fitting to eliminate the radius in the hose....i have read about this in another thread and if you look at yours at idle you probably will see the same thing. the hose material also seems softer and easier to collapse when hotter. but even with a cold start the line flattens .....

    i am removing the can until i can get something that is more rigid.....

    It does work it's just a piece of shit people rushed to get that money while hellcat heat is hot for aftermarket like afe they sold a bunch of units made good money off hellcat.org but in the end didn't work

    Instead of removing it why don't you get some 1/2" ID braided hose? Mine doesn't change shape at all. JLT needs to take note.

    IMO some flow restriction occurs with JLt, it must the screen filter element hole is only 3/8". Then the i.d. connectors are smaller too. And through the couplers and transitions. That isn't what you seek. But a catch can is just 1 component of the ccv evacuation setup as well. And they all work together. Hopefully in harmony but pcv chosen for this car is 100% crap and I personally believe it's the source of many issues.

    So choose wisely but understand a catch can is 1 thing out of many parts that must work together and you wanna put some thoughts into your choices.

    Throw a check valve from earls in there see if any differences stay clear of bwoody tho
