First, I ask a legitimate question about a dealer being banned. I support with a couple facts. Then all the sudden it's a knob issue. I didn't say one thing about that. So all you rule followers broke your own rule of thread high jacking.

While I realize that there are rules and guidelines in life, I don't think there is anything wrong with questioning them. If they are stupid, how about an intelligent conversation about them. Nope, straight to knob and dick references.

Also it's not about me, I have my car. I feel like this is a stupid rule. I think a "forum" is a great place to discuss with a cross section of people from all backgrounds. It's no secret that me and Mr Big Kid have had our differences about a variety of issues. But, I respect his views on anything. Whether I agree with them or not is immaterial. Maybe he says something that changes my thinking and I look at it in a different light? Maybe?

So again, to those who just lock down threads and blame it on the knob posters, how about some conversation on this rule. If you think a dealer is gonna advertise here for a chance to sell 1 or 2 cars, I think your are way off base. Again, I can post So And So dealer has a Cat, and someone here gets that's great. That dealer should be able to post it also. They are not gonna pay you to sell a car at MSRP. Your gonna get the dealers with the 10K ADM. Then your gonna have way more pissed off people.

So lets leave the knob/ dick out of this conversation.

Shake, you opened the conversation up to the "knob" thing when you mentioned another member being banned and wanted him to be freed, aka unbanned, in your opening post that created the thread. Everyone knows why that member was given a temporary ban, therefore conversation was naturally steered in that direction because it was one of the points you made in your post. So, blame yourself for that one.

It has, once again, been made abundantly clear that the group of you, are once again, unhappy. If you want to open up a dialogue about changes to the forum rules, then you should go through the proper channel instead of ripping into the Moderators who have been asked to help enforce the rules as they are currently stated. I am stating, once again, for the record, that the Moderators have NO say in the rules that were put into place. You need to address the possibility to Cereal Killer, as he is the Admin that manages this sight for Forum Foundry. I am not certain whether it would be best to open up a dialogue with CK in a PM, or in an open thread on the forum, but you could always ask him and find out.

fastguy, I am so not reading all of that, it is too long! LOL! I do get the gist of your post ... you are trying to go all, "rules lawyer" on us. Again, if you guys do not like the rules of this forum, then go through the proper channels to open a dialogue for possible change. The owners of the site are the ones who make the rules. Just as the owner of a business can demand shirt and shoes be worn in their establishment, the people who pay the bill for running the server and maintaining the site are the ones who set forth the rules that are in place now. Addressing Cereal Killer is the first step to making any changes. The only other recourse is to either let it go and abide by the rules in place, or as I said on a different thread, look for a site that meets your entertainment and informational needs. Again, I am not asking anyone to leave by any stretch of the imagination, but the constant bickering and complaining is getting beyond tiresome and childish.

April as usual, I think your way off base. That was at the bottom just like a signature. Any idiot could read what the point was. Unfortunately, everyone always goes back to that. I will state what I have stated multiple times. When you don't have people that are semi controversial or think out side of your clock punching, stepford wife thinking, box. This place will be a ghost town. Thanks for the work that you do here on trying to maintain some sort of order. Maybe, we would benefit from a little spirited conversation on the hot button topics

I'll 2nd that !! IMO the Mods here have shown great restraint with respect to banning and removing posts/locking some of these threads.
I've participated in other forums over the years where the Mods/Owners wouldn't be nearly this tolerant of members who have been politely asked to stop beating a dead horse yet insist on opening a new thread when the current one is locked.

I assume you know how hard it is to get a Hellcat at MSRP. I guess your ok with someone having to pay, to help someone here to get theirs?

As much as I hate to type this whole paragraph out, SRT_HC_707 already explained in detail in another thread about this same topic already.

I get it SB but Hellcat.org is not craigslist unfortunately. This is run and managed by CK and his team so their rules, their site to manage and run the way they want it.

We mods just roll with the site rules otherwise we are not moderators any longer.

Any issues just PM cereal killer and he will say the same if not address it directly with an answer.

I still like you SB and we are still friends :D when are we meeting up again? Shall I arrange another meetup for local?

Shake, as usual, you are the one that is way off base. The point that you brought up was not clearly part of a signature, because it was in the same font, that you typed out, that was not included in any other post you made on that thread.

I am not going to stoop to your level by returning insults. I do not appreciate being referred to as an idiot, or a stepford wife. You were the one that opened up this thread asking to have an adult conversation, yet you are the one proving that you are incapable of doing just that. I am asking that if you need to insult me further that you do so in a PM, that way other people will not be subjected to the bickering, and I will able to respond without the constraints of being a Moderator. K, thnx.

Ben, I have no issue with you whatsoever. You are a super guy. It seems so obvious to me that not allowing the guy to post that he has a deal on a HC because he is not a vendor is ridiculous. Here is my thinking, no one who is selling for MSRP is gonna pay to sell their car. They don't have to.

By the way, how much does it cost to be a vendor here?

Thanks Reid, I understand that. cereal killer said he will be handling this issue sooner if not later so please wait for his response in PM if not here. I'm not sure what the prices are for vendors.

Shake&Bake I shutdown the last thread and it actually had nothing to do with the childish, never ending knob postings (but that would have been yet another reason to shut it down). I shut it down because we already explained the logic behind the banning of the dealer. There is no need to discuss it further. You may agree to disagree with the decision and that's fine. Once again, I'm done discussing it. Maybe some other Challenger forum would suit you better?
