Ok I know it's small, I heard all the pimple jokes but I have to say no matter how much I love this car l feel why should this be here. My cat came with a small bubble in the paint. Yes it's on the bottom. Does anyone know if this could be sanded out? It's smaller than an eraser head. I do not want to paint the door. My 15 ivory scat was close to perfect. If anyone knows a body guy in westchester that works miracles I will pay him double! And I'm not kidding.

I've sold shelbys for less. This could be next. But people have had worse. And I think one quick rip around the block could heed a huge rock chip so I guess it's relative.

I've managed a body shop for 12 years... that door needs to be painted in order to correct that issue. Period.

For me to suggest what it is would be pure speculation. All I can tell you is that it needs to be painted to be corrected. Dealer will cover it under warranty. Just relax and let them take care of it if it bothers you that much.

Yeah but just cannot accept a repainted door. Selling it is my only cure. Thanks for your opinion.

That seems excessive to me. No big deal to have a door painted. That is what I do everyday. I could find flaws in EVERY new car that would require at least 1 panel to be painted. My Hellcat is far from perfect. There are several flaws in the paint if I look close enough, but I still love and appreciate the car.

At the end of the day it is your car and your money. You need to do whatever makes you happy.

You are correct, I've found flaws in every Shelby and mustang I've ever owned. Yes I could "look close enough" and find flaws in every paint job also. Before the FD I was a finished carpenter for 25 years so my eye is good. But this flaw is not seen looking hard. There is no way I could ever have a door painted on my brand new factory built, robot painted car. Sorry, just me.

No no; yours will be the fastest! Pimples/ dimples disrupt the surface layer and decrease friction! (Or some such BS- I read it on the internets - must be true - and Adam and Jamie say so!).

All Lamborghinis are painted by hand and so are Vipers. Again...at the end of the day you have to do what is best for you and I respect that.

Mine has almost the same flaw in the same spot and sa me color. It bothered me at first, but I'm leaving it alone. After all it was born with it, and I can't really see it causing an issue.
