Just had the K&N air intake installed. Sounds amazing, noticeable response in torque. I'm hoping for a dyno next week, and will post results.... image.jpg

As a sunny southern CA resident, rain is not really an issue (unfortunately).

They recommend to be covered when washing.

Let us know how temp management works out (engine, iat, ic) during all driving conditions especially stop go slow etc.

Road trip in a few weeks, putting 3,500 miles on the car in 10 days - I'll post the results of the dyno and the trip

Is it oiled? I know oiled filters usually don't work well with forced induction, fouling MAF and IAT.

Hump couplers are for intakes that do not attach to the engine that way they flex more, Hump couplers also create a disturbance in airflow lowering CFM numbers. As their design incorporates only a 4" ID tube that flows less CFM than OEM the 2 Hump couplers are reducing the flow as well...... K&N boasting the numbers they have is some serious snake oil. The whole idea of an open air intake is to flow more than OEM.....NOT LESS.

Can you post a pic looking down through the heat extractor vent? Some were concerned that it was just a carryover from the 392 and that it was not over the vent. I guessed that this intake would do the same as the rest for far less money.

Are you planning on doing any dyno or track tests? I know a lot of us would really appreciate that. Thanks in advance!

    AMAZING!!
It has enhanced the supercharger and has a beautiful "whine" with acceleration, but hardly noticeable when you cruise.
