How does this work with the M6? I have not yet played around with it yet. Anybody care to share how to use it with the manual?

You can set up the rpm up to 4250 (I think) in 250 rpm incriments... push the launch button on console. Dash will display "push clutch and depress throttle" or something like that... floor accelerator pedal and it will hold at your selected rpm.. dump clutch and off you go!

Ive tried it a few times with drag radials. At 3750 rpm set point it spun a couple feet and bogged down pretty bad.. did 3.9 0-60.

    LAUNCH CONTROL

    Manual Transmission — If Equipped

Vehicles with a manual transmission have an adjustable launch RPM controlled through the Uconnect® system.

Launch Control is only available when the following procedure is followed:

    1. Pressing the “LAUNCH” button on the center stack switch bank.

NOTE: Pushing the SRT button on the center stack or pressing the “SRT & Apps” button on the touchscreen are two other options to access launch control features. Please refer to “Uconnect® Settings” within your Own- er’s Manual on the DVD for further information.

    2. Press the “Launch RPM Set-Up” button on the touch- screen. This screen will allow you to adjust your launch RPM’s for optimum launch/traction.

    3. Press the “Activate Launch Mode” button on the touchscreen.

    4. Make sure the vehicle is not moving.
    5. Make sure the steering wheel is pointing straight.

    1. Fully depress the clutch pedal and make sure the vehicle is in first gear.
    2. While holding the clutch depressed, rapidly apply the accelerator pedal to wide open throttle. The engine speed will hold at the pre-selected launch RPM. The engine speed will hold at the RPM that was set in the “Launch RPM Set-up” screen.
NOTE: Messages will appear in the Driver Information Display (DID) to inform the driver if one or more of the above conditions have not been met.

    8. When conditions 5 through 8 have been met, the Driver Information Display (DID) will read “Launch Ready Release Clutch”. Release the clutch quickly and continue to hold wide open throttle to launch execute shifts. Refer to “Manual Transmission – Shifting” in this section for further information.

Release the brake and continue to hold wide open throttle to launch.

    9. Keep the vehicle pointed straight.

Launch control will be active until the vehicle reaches 62 mph (100 km/h), at which point the ESC system will return to its current ESC mode.

No never had an issue like that. However, if I nail it at 40 or so mph, I am always in second gear... better yet, put it in second at 40 mph, traction control off, push in clutch and rev it to about 5000 rpm and dump the clutch/ floor accelerator at the same time... f*#k yes

31 is WAY too slow for 3rd gear.. I cant remember the last time I was in 3rd at 31mph. Lol.. try going 31mph in first and punching it.. see if it bogs then;)

you will hear it sound like it is hitting the rev limiter with your foot to the floor with the accelerator. Keep it on the floor the whole time. Quickly release clutch and keep gas floored.. 1st gear. It will spin, then bog, then maybe spin a bit more. Quite a waste of time on street tires. Drag radials might be ideal.

I tired the launch control once and it failed pretty bad. Had it set to 3k and dumped the clutch. It bogged down. My thoughts are this.
    1. I may need to launch at a higher rpm.
    2. I need to ride the clutch pedal out.
    3. The computer doesn't like any wheels spin and kills power at the first sign.
My guess is the clutch needs to be let out slower.

I would be careful "riding" that clutch. Too much heat is a no no.
