Just read on another forum that launch control will not activate until after 500 miles have been logged. Anybody know if this is true? Cool that this technology is built in to protect our cats!

I heard that also... I dont think it there to protect ours cars... I willing to bet it is there to protect a certain auto manufacturers bottom line.. as in warranty claims.

Interesting! I probably won't ever use launch control. Love the good ole pedal to the metal floorin it then hear the supercharger whine with the V8 block growling though each gear shifting. Drool - may I have it?

Yes, it does. From everything I have read, it really didn't do much to improve times and was actually worse. I am anxious to play with it though! How many peeps get to say they have a LAUNCH button in their car.?:D

Yes, otherwise you'd have front and rear brakes engaged while burning out.
