OK! I am a serious car driver I have never bought a car to store it. I drive the ever loving wheels off of all of them! With that said. I don't want to drive mine as much. lol! I am thinking about leasing a ultra low mileage vehicle to keep the miles off my Hellcat...am I crazy? thoughts?

My Hellcat is a second vehicle to me. Couldn't imagine it as a primary, even as much as I love it. Wouldn't lease a secondary vehicle, but rather pay cash for a used/modest something.

Just buy something you can afford. It will make your time with the challenger that much better!

I have no desire to own another car. I will be retiring next year so after that there will not be a lot of "daily driving". My wife wants the new Tesla model X, but is trying to keep her Porsche, and then has the nerve to ask which car is getting parked in the driveway...

If that's the case, just keep on doing what your doing with your Hellcat. Still wouldn't lease. Congrat's on the soon to be retirement.

Why don't you want to drive your Hellcat much? I'm curious because I bought my Hellcat with intent to garage it and only drive it a few times a week. It was supposed to be a second car for me. I've had it over a month now and have driven it everyday and decided to sell my other car that was supposed to remain as my daily driver. I just found myself wanting to daily drive my Hellcat so that's what I've been doing.

Funny! I'm completely opposite. When I bought mine it was going to be my daily driver! But when it showed up and I took it for the first drive I knew I couldn't drive it everyday. I only drive it on the weekends and sometimes after work. Mainly just around town. But with the M6 it sure is fun!

What made you know you "couldn't drive it everyday"? I'm just curious because IMO it can be driven around town like a normal family car, or pushed like a super car, or driven somewhere in between etc. What is it that I'm missing on why you can't drive it daily? Lol

You are absolutely right! Just not by me. :(
First of all I would lose my license! Lol
Second, I work at a University so I can not bring myself to park it on campus. So I choose not to commute in it.
Finally, it's just to special to me. I don't see myself ever buying a 70 thousand dollar car again in my life so I want to preserve this one the best I can.

Don't get me wrong! I'm the first one to volunteer to fly to the store!

Yep mine is a daily too, hauling kids back and forth. Couldn't imagine it any other way. Hell, I get almost 18 mpg, why not?
