The PCM will be here tomorrow. We will get the tune worked in the coming week.

Yes, to add a tune you have to crack the PCM or replace it.

No, you got your old PCM if you have to go back to the dealership. My dealership already told me not to worry about it, or the LegMaker CAI or the one piece drive shaft.

That's if you buy a new one, but I've heard that they can tell if you've run a modified PCM despite putting the factory stock one back in. CAI, DS, DR's and exhaust don't void them from what I've been told. I certainly could be wrong about that, I suppose it's up to your dealer and the relationship.

Yes, I have a new one in the mail. Relationships are key.

Just got mine on my 17' Charger! Chris really put his engineering skills into this intake. The whine is so loud now. The 4.5 to a 6 inch frees up so much air coming in. Yet alone, it gives the engine bay such an aggressive look. I chose to have the lid off just because I love to look at the carbon fiber and that huge red filter lol but I'll be putting it on soon since down here in Florida it's raining half the time. I definitely recommend this intake over any other out there for the hellcat. Two thumbs up for the Legmaker!

Really wanna pull the trigger on this but I'm worried about water entering the intake through the heat extractor. Do I need the lid to prevent direct water on the pre-filter? Does the prefilter shed water?

I drive in heavy rain, and I also use automatic car washes that are not shy about where they dump water into the holes on the hood.
    Thanks in advance.

You most probably will. The heat extractor sits almost directly on top of the filter. You can see it on the pic I posted. I don't trust the outerwear on the filter too much considering a couple drops of my sweat dropped on it as I was adjusting the clamp and the sweat went right through into the filter. I'm sure it repels water by making it bead but I don't think a drop or a couple drops of water on it at full throttle with 11+psi of air being sucked through it will be repelling water lol

I do the same with nothing just the open filter. Never had a problem as there is too much positive pressure at the hood extractor.

I am very happy with mine. It looks great and the sound is intense. Will be very happy once the break-in smell is gone though!
