I wanted to color my Halos or add LEDs, but I did not want to remove and cut open the headlight housings to install LEDs, I found cheap colored tint film works pretty good, I need to order more in before I do mine up but here are a few pics of test pieces.. when installed and trimed properly I think they will look great..

I used green and orange tint to get the lime green.

What ya think? think headlamp heat will be an issue?

PS I found that for bright halo's, set headlight switch to auto with daytime running turned off.. they will be twice as bright as when on as parking lights.. I didn't know this all this time LOL

PSS have you seen your cars eyes?

If you like it, go for it. I would check first and see if colored headlights are street legal, because it is not like you can flip a switch and turn the film off.

Where and what type of film are you using?
    Think I might try that.

Like April said.. Its illegal to drive with colored headlights here in Ohio. They take it pretty seriously too.

Def check it out. They particularly go nuts for red and yellow since those are emergency vehicle lighting.

Yep, Ohio will eventually get you. There is a new M3 that drives around here with red halos and that is a big no-no. Red or blue will be the worst. Yellow is less of a issue. On my last Challenger I ran bright yellow fog light bulbs as yellow actually works in actual fog, unlike the stock off-white. Also, some cars actually come with yellow fog lights stock. My 2001 Lexus IS300 had yellow fogs stock, and GS at the same time and newer models did too.
