Good for you! No sense paying well over sticker when you can either ship or fly and drive home.

Good for the rest of us too, as customers pay MSRP or lower it rewards good dealers and that helps others like me who are still waiting for one of these beasts!

    Enjoy the ride!

Great, make sure you let them know what you did and that you will never spend money with them again. Just keep in good graces with one dealer for warranty service.

Maybe they just screw guys from their own state? Then give out of staters better deals? I have heard of guys from different states getting MSRP from dealers in MO and IL. How can this be?

Just 1343 Dodge Hellcats listed out there on CARS.com (just checked)...
    1007 Challenger HCs
    336 Charger HCs

Way too many available to pay over sticker!

No better help than self help! Go find yourself a Hellcat at MSRP or better!

Yep, our dealers here will try to get as much ADM as possible. Guess they figure sooner or later somebody will bite (and usually does). Large population density and all helps them....Guess if I was a dealer, I'd be doing the same thing. Capitalism.

You all do realize that keeping the price high actually helps us right? IF you are a person that plans on keeping a car forever then this is not you. If you are like the rest of us and like a new car every few years. Then why would we want to drive down the price of OUR cars? The reason I say this is based on market value. If these cars are all being sold for lets say 10k over msrp. Then one would think when they go to get rid of it it will still be worth more. For example selling these cars for less than MSRP hurts the market. So by buying this car for under the value of the market then hurts the market. Kind of like grading on the curve. haha.

That's just it...I bought mine for MSRP as have lots of others. There are dealerships out there trying to sell for way over MSRP and the age of those vehicles keeps increasing. It started as a mixed market for pricing and there has been some price gouging. A few selected states were worse than others but Hellcats were and continue to be available at MSRP. If you bought this car to make money, that ship has probably sailed mid year MY15.

Over 8300 sold in MY15, probably 11,000 to 12,000 being produced in MY16. While there is a sucker born every minute, don't count on an artificial price high being in the market due to a small bunch of fuzz nutz selling over MSRP with redonkulous ADMs.

Wooooooooooow, that is ridiculous. I don't know who the bigger asshole is, the dealer or the person who pays it.

I hope it sits there and they never sell it. Total bullshit that dealers do this. Absolute horsecrap. Screw them. Post the dealer on fb for Chrysler to see it. Get a pic of the sticker with your post. Damn it

Guess my dealer doesn't fall into that category. My first HC, a 15 bought last August, at MSRP. My second, a 16 bought in January, $500 under MSRP.
