Was this at 5800rpm I assume or did you go to 6200?

I stayed in full throttle fourth gear on the long straight stretch at pacific raceways and had reset the top speed recorded prior to the lap session. The engine seems to go above 5800 quite easily. My prior top speed in fourth was 132, my shift indicator lights are set to 5800 third and fourth gear.
The shift light was flashing and I stayed in till 136. I only lifted briefly to reduce speed for the corner turn in cone and then squeezed the throttle again to squat the car for turn one I'm trying fifth gear in the straight as well but my fourth to fifth shift quality is poor, so I'm holding back on other laps to 120 or so in fourth.
Here's a link to the video I put up on here
You can see the digital speedo pretty good around the 1:40 mark.

By my tremec tire/gear iPhone app (which is cool if you don't have it) 136 mph comes at 5915 rpms with a 3.70rear a 28.6" tire and a 1.0 fourth gear, but I'm positive I was over my shift light setting but I don't know how accurate all the math is.

I was just reading a white-paper about how tire revs/mile can't be accurately calculated from tire diameter due to contact patch deflection and other factors. The premise put forth by the author was that the only accurate metric is factory published revs/mile that are actually counted.

Even further was there are different numbers for different speeds (which slightly changes contact patch).

But for whatever reason, Pirelli doesn't publish this number for our Summer tire, go figure...

No matter, the number that's in there is close, within a percentage point or two...
