Have anybody tried to change gears on an M6? Wonder why i have not seen this done. I imagine a gear swap and the M6 will be a lot faster for sure.

A simple mod for Barton shifter has made sakit of people I know with hellcats and scat shaker cars more enjoyable to drive. Shift snd hit the gears more efficiently and it feels better. The m6 shifter is these cars shows its true colors when it is next to a Barton. The aftermarket one is just beefier and much more solid

Dual disc melted, I had too much power for it.... I've got a new prototype of my own, looking to see how it holds. So far it's been unreal, if the rain ever stops, I believe , good times ahead.. now working on a gear set up , for my transmission, which will allow quicker shifts, better times in the quarter and half mile. Yep, still trying to go faster. Fun times

Please let us know you're new Trans ratios, are you getting gears from Tremec or Monster transmissions?
    I'd like to try a
    2.66
    1.78
    1.30
    1.0
    .80
    .63
with a 3.90 rear gear and an Eaton TrueTrac

    1st is stock
2nd is stock Trans with 3.90's
    3rd is a standard T56 spread with 3.90's
The third photo looks optimum to me for that heavy of a car, or any car really.
I mean wtf? We trying to buy factory Bonneville salt cars? I don't think so, this car needs gear, and before anybody gives the whole "if it was lower geared it would just be a tire burner machine dogma" I would like a reminder about how well the auto does with 3.09 gears and how many clutches the manual guys are going through with the 3.70's and 2.26 first and a 28.6" tire in a 4450pound car, and how terrible the sixty foot times are stock, it's like trying to move a cement truck in high gear that's had a high horse motor swap. First in these cars was purely for media bragging 0 to 60 rights IMHO it's stupid tall and makes any type of take off a pain.

Yes it has been done and the person posted they liked it. That the car launched easier racing or not. Scat pack Diff goes right in and is 3.90 ratio VS stock 3.70.
