I searched and didn't find what I want. So maybe this will become that which I want.
Basically a list of mods to reach a given performance level, either ET, speed, or Dyno'd HP.
I occasionally spend time on Moparts where we have some info like:
Basic 500 HP big block build, and a list of parts that does it.
Here we have lots of "I added the 2.85 and XYZ tune.
I'd love to see a BRIEF, CONCISE list. ET/Speed, Trans, a list of mods eg
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9.94@138, M6, pinned crank, 2.85 upper pulley, tune, 3.09 gear, StellasHC
    10.79@128.49, A8, 3.09 gear, 305 45 18 MT "R", DB2

I can modify this post and past in entries to build an asset to help us all, especially new members, to get the performance level they want.

If this exists already, please point me to it.
    Thanks!

Earlier in the spring, I was going to offer to do exactly what your describing. I think it is long overdue.. However, I had a few people make accusations towards me because of my claims of ET vs mods... kind of took the wind out of my sails.

There is a post somewhere that started listing all the cars in the 9s with their corresponding mods...

Yeah, I recall that. It was ridiculous! How're you doing with your car lately? I always enjoyed following your posts. You thoughtfully and freely give out information to help others. Some others just want to be the only fast one.

I've since done a 2.85 upper pulley, tune and a 3.09 gear..... and I've run a best of 9.94 @ 138.. it is a very consistent 10.0x car in this configuration.

Now I am looking at upping the boost just a bit, and running a different fuel... you know, because 9.9x is just not quick enough...lol

It's crazy to think how fast these cars go, both stock and particularly, modified. I recall as a snot-nosed kid back in the early Seventies, reading Hot Rod and the ET's and speeds of some classes of full out NHRA cars were where these cars are running in stock configuration today.

Concratulations on steadily perfecting your car. Please keep the information coming, too. I always enjoy learning from your experience.

Tools in the trunk, to me means, "you are a hookin".....that's why I rarely spin. Why go out there if you are not serious about posting a good time on the score board? Every time.

Dollar for dollar this may be the cheapest way to get under 10 seconds.
Once the mod is done you will never look back and wonder why you didn't do it earlier

Peoples different opinions vary and the real opinions are from people that have done it or not

So I used an online calculator for ET, speed, & weight, plugged in your ET and 4450lbs. Says you are between 896-901HP.
Previously you were at 770 prior to the 2.85 pulley, tune, and 3.09gear. Sound about right?

I really can't say what kind of power my car makes...it's never been on a dyno. All I have are my timeslips with the corresponding mods.

I'm really not a fan of calculators or big dyno #s.... way too many variables. I'm more of a bring it to the track and see what the slip says kinda guy.... hard to manipulate those numbers
