Has anyone put one of these clutches in their hc? Has anyone ever use one in any other vehicles?

Does Mcleod make a clutch for the Hellcat?

    Just looked sorry,
I'm going to need a clutch soon and any options will be considered,
from what I've seen the Bad Boyzz garage clutch is the way to go, they have race proven viper spec clutches, and by next summer their Hellcat clutches will have proven themselves i'm willing to bet money on them.
We need a sticky thread with clutch info for these cars,

Ya the bad boyzz clutch kit is nice and I think it's a good product but if I could save 1g on a clutch and it will perform the same I'd be happy with that

Holy crap thats a lot. The clutch in my Trans Am was $750 installed. I believe the part was $350 for a GM performance unit, it was several years ago so my memory might be a little fuzzy on the actual breakdown between labor and parts. Anyway, this is making me happier going with the A8.

You will never got $1600 worth of driving experience in the A8.

I know, I do miss the having a manual like I had in my other cars. But what I am happy with is it is the fastest stock hellcat out there and the first time you nail the gas while in 7th or 8th and it instantly drops 3 - 4 gears and sends you into the next county is AWESOME.

I put an RXT on my procharged 2011 392 in july. Had to replace the RST that was on it previously. My 2011 has slightly more power than the hellcat and the RXT seems to be holding up well. Pedal pressure is noticeably more. (RXT is much heavier duty than the RST).

If you use the stock release bearing it needs to be shimmed accurately. Bad Boyzz, I believe comes with their release bearing.

The rxt linked above on HHP website appears to be heavier duty than the standard one.(1200hp vs 1000hp). Clamp pressure required for 1200hp, only concern would be stock RB holding up long term.

I have not used either unit, nor do I have bias in one or the other.....

That being said I am going with Bad Boyzz as they work with Chrysler and I am not sure the other brand can say the same thing........

Hey, Automatics are the best. They allow you to drink your Starbucks, text on the cell phone, shave and get a BJ while driving. Lets see you manual guys do that. ;)
