what's the difference between the 1000 and the 1200? Do these come with the Flywheel? The McLeod website is slightly contradictory, the descriptions states it does, but the list below says no...?

Good question. I'm waiting for a response to that question myself.

i've since found this out. it's the horsepower rating, which is crank horsepower according to the website.

Your response is not answering the question about the flywheel coming with the kit, which is what I was wanting clarified..

Sorry for the late response guys.. got ahold of McLeod for verification. Neither of these come with the Flywheel, They attach to the OEM Flywheel. And as owen said, the difference is the hp rating.

To be correct, the McLeod clutch actually bolts over the OEM flywheel and it has it's own new flywheels built into the assembly, so no need for re-surface or a new flywheel.

No problem.....BTW this one we did yesterday is the 7th one we have installed at the shop, this particular car has a 2.65 pulley ID SCT base line tune, made just over 860ish on the rollers earlier at a shop up in harrisburg from what I was told, they tried dynoing early last week and the OEM clutch just smoldered, customer put 100 miles on the clutch last night for a small break in period then finished up on the rollers. Clutch pedal feels identical to stock but don't slip.....lol. Great clutch for the $$$$$.

In the 3rd picture you provided there is clearly heat checking spots on the factory flywheel from clutch slippage so you just bolted on the new clutch assembly without resurfacing the flywheel at all?? And this is going to last how long?

The OEM flywheel was re-surfaced before re-install of the RXT 1000 even though the new clutch does not touch the oem flywheel at all we did re surface to ensure a flat surface for the new clutch flywheel assembly to bolt too, sorry didn't think we needed to post a picture of the re-surfaced flywheel.
