I just wanted to say upfront, I didn't buy this car to achieve great fuel economy. LOL!

I took my car in for service the other day and the average fuel economy was astoundingly low. I zeroed-out most of the performance"best" times and fuel gauge....so it looks like someone has been driving it pretty "hard". But, because the car looks and drives perfect...I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get any real satisfaction when the manager calls me back today...

But on another related topic, my own average fuel economy is only slight better the "car porter's" and I drive it 50% highway and 50% city.

What are you guys (and gals) seeing for fuel economy?

I just broke 1000 miles and my average for the 1000 miles is about 15.5 MPG. I took a highway trip a few weeks ago and was getting over 25 MPG....I was amazed! I have the A8 Trans.

13 ish in the city - spirited, usually with the transmission in track.

23.5 was the best recorded on the lie-o-meter on a 200 mile highway trip in eco mode and cruise control at 75-80

On a two hour road trip with speeds at times in excess of 85 mph (hill and curves in Ark and Mo) averaged 21.6
which I was quite please with.

The Fuel Mileage I have been getting has been a big surprise that I didn't expect. Another surprise is how well the ride is anywhere, comparable to any luxury car.
When I start getting frisky with the Hellcat, I am sure my MPG will be a lot less, and that I surely expect.

    Wow, that's outstanding fuel economy.

I just saw that someone else posted the same question earlier in the month...sorry for asking the same thing again!. The MPG of the people in the earlier thread seem to be much closer to what I getting.

Daily drive it, drive like an ahole, peel out at lights and blow by slow people; my MPG is 9.8 this week, but I was at the track last weekend, normally on average it sits around 10.5 - 11.2. If it gets any higher than that I am obviously driving too slow.

I have zero highway on my work commute, so I average between 11-13 most of the time. However, tsc and I drove 200 miles roundtrip for a show and both got 25.1mpg. He usually averages between 20-25 in his Challenger because his work commute is 30 miles of highway driving.

10.5 avg in 1000 miles. always in stop and go Atlanta traffic. I can see the number change drop as I sit idle.

Avg is 13.5 mpg mixed city, hwy and spirited fun. Did squeeze out a 28.5 mpg on an hour drive in eco mode and foot very light on the accelerator.....but it took a lot of self control.;)
