Sunday I installed the Metco SC 2.75 SC Pulley. I would say you should be a experienced mechanic to perform this install. I did not have a hoist to pull the SC so I did it a little different. Approx time 3-4 hrs. This is just the way I did it so I did not have to completely remove the SC and put it on a bench.Tuning will be done by HHP/ Hemituner ;)

This is great! Thanks so much for taking the time to do the write up. Looks like you did a great job! Any special requirements on the lube for the seal?

Looks great,, one picture shows three bolt holes,, what are they.. Second, did you do anything with the coolant, line vacuum release or seal??? And have you driven the car with the new pulley...is this your only mod???

Thanks no I just used. Light white lithium grease they say light engine oil it's just to prevent damaging the seal when putting the top cover back on.

Yes there was some oil most coming from the drivers side not the side most have there catch can on ?? I'm going to order one from BT today.

HC1. If your talking about the 6th pic there are 3 o-rings for the top cover make sure they don't get missed.

Nothing on the SC coolant it is self contained I did not take the hoses off.
I did drain the engine coolant because I thought I could take the inlet nose off and slide it forward without lifting the SC but you can't get to the bottom middle bolt. So you don't need to drain any coolants if your not removing the SC to put on a bench. Then you would need to remove the 2 hoses on back of the SC & remove the fuel line.

Yes I drove it after the install but I am waiting for the PCM from AJ right now yes stock air box & exhaust.

Just one point for those considering this swap...The Metco supercharger pulley ships fully assembled as part of the final QC, but as indicated on the box it must be fully disassembled prior to installation. The pulley hub is installed on the shaft by itself, with the provided threadlocking compound applied to the threads. Once tightened, the ring and front cover are re-installed, using the same threadlocker on the ring and cover fasteners.
What length supercharger belt did you use?

This is great info...Thanks very much for sharing.

We recommend blue threadlocker on the shaft threads, and also the single bolt for the pulley cover. I usually include a single-use container of threadlocker with each pulley, but it seems I forgot. Sorry about that.

The pulley ring fasteners and pulley cover fastener are not torque-sensitive, and can simply be tightened securely.
It sounds like you did everything just right.

Thanks again for the post...We all appreciate it.

    This is awesome.
Will be very interesting to see the results, especially with stock air box and headers and so on.
Good luck and keep us posted.
