Metco upper pulley install with pics

    The job isn't that bad with the right tools etc
    Took me about 3-4hours the most besides bs ing with some buddy's

    Well here's the pulley I chose
    To go along with all the other bolt ons
    Metco 2.85

    image.jpg I started by removing the wipers and wiper cowl
    Then remove the wiper cowl bracket I. Order to get to the rear s/c bolts
    I just moved it to the side

    And Start unplugging everything attached to the s/c lol there are 2 in te rear as well
    Also disconnect inter cooler lines on passenger side

    Start removing all top s/c torx bolts and all 10mm intake bolts

    Top s/c lid off once everything is disconnected almost ready to come out
    Remove belt / disconnect Injector pigtails etc

    Well here it is ready to come out
    Since the s/c is a heavy bastard
    I used tow strap and hoist to get that sucker out
    And set it on a work bench to remove the front snout

    OK, so you removed the intake tube only,,, , do you have any pictures of the innercooler lines you removed, BTW,, We have be talking on facebook...

    Here it is on the bench
    Remove all 3 torx bolts to rubber grommet on snout
    In order to get to the (6) 13mm snout bolts and it pulls right off

    Yes I can get u a pic of the hoses they are the ones running from inter cooler reservoir

    But here's the snout off with the Metco tool installed get the right socket (15/16) and have a buddy with a pry bar on some sort in between some pins that are on the back side of snout to lock in place while u break loose and remove the OEM pulley

    Nice job :) the snout has 5/6 bolts around it why not pull it from there ?

    Very jealous but wow you got in that ass ;)
