Thats because stock sounds awesome man! Probably the best sounding stock exhaust I have ever heard I would say.
But doing what I told the O.P to do just increases the volume a bit over stock. It doesn't change the note. If anything it makes it some what deeper. Which is always better.
If stock is say a 6 out of 10 volume wise. This slightly increases the decibels some and I would say it's a 8 out of 10.
Also with no drone or rasp.

The valve by pass is cool but when cruising with it, it will introduce drone. That is why it wasn't for me.
The flaps shutting is what keeps your car from droning. That and the rear resonators in combination... Don't wanna disrupte that. Wifey wouldn't like drone.. Lol

Has anyone noticed any kind of... rattling noise, since having this done? If I accelerate moderately, from about 1700-2500 RPM, there is an audible high frequency rattle coming from the exhaust by the sounds of it. I can't tell if it's just sound from lack of the mid-mufflers, or if something came loose when they were hitting the exhaust piping with the saw? I have the 392 engine, so it could be a little different... and it ONLY does this under the aforementioned conditions. At WOT or normal cruising, I never hear anything.

Did you do just the mid muffler delete or did you add the race mufflers in place of the mid mufflers.?
I have zero rattling with my added race mufflers . My guess is something is loose underneath. The tips use clamps so maybe they loosened those to straighten the tips and never fully tightened again.

I can ship them and take more pics if you want to see them better. Make an offer if you dont like the price. They are 2.5' sections so its plenty of tubing for that section
