Red key keeps the valves open all the time?

That makes absolutely no sense. If the valves were 'open all the time' the engine would stop running and probably blow the supercharger through the hood.

What on earth are you talking about?

Red key Black key. Or if I am not mistaken, you can set your hp to 500 and still run the red key. That would be in the SRT settings under custom.

Your enging will not run with intake and exhaust valves open at the same time.

The car is definitely wild in track mode compared with low settings on everything. Mine is a blast in track mode.

NASA Nuclear physicists have been using the Hubble telescope to develop the 500 gigabyte plan to rid the world of these unbelievable insurmountable valves.
As of yet, amazing as it seems, no one has been able to overcome these hurdles.
I just plain hate those exhaust flaps.
There's actually folks that have removed other portions/mufflers/resonators of the Hellcats exhaust because dealing with this problem has been to difficult to overcome
    Sorry
    Off soap box now

And just when has ANYONE been successful using Track mode to hold these gates of insanity open?

If you really want a mild to wild experience, drive around in Valet mode with the Red key for 10 minutes, then turn Valet off, making sure you are now in track mode and apply copious amounts of skinny pedal.

on my M3 I have the Macht Schnell exhaust valve control and you can switch between modes via a button in the turn signal. go between open-close-factory setting while you drive, also change the brightness of the front led's, truly an amazing piece. I wish it was available for the hellcat.
