Any 0W40 full synth will work the man from Auburn Hills said...but they fully endorse and only recommend the Pennzoil. Just gonna stick with with the Pennzoil for the time being.
Yeah, me too. I just wondered how sticky they were on it. Thanks for sharing your experience on this. It was helpful and gave a lot of good info. Let's hope you have smooth sailing now!
Penzoil Ultra Premium is the best Synthetic on the market (right next to AMSOIL) For the price you will not find a better synthetic. Real world tests have proven time and time again that PUP stands up even after 10K better than its competitors. It's still good at 10K barring your not driving on dirt and dust ala the General Lee
They approved my replacement the same day. I am just waiting for the wheel to come in now. I urge everyone to check their wheels before they do too much driving. I am for sure going to end up adding another layer of powder coat on them this Summer. I was thinking about gloss finish, but now I have the flat black stripe and the wheels totally match.
They label it European Blend, as it's the only true synthetic Mobil One oil makes that is 100% synthetic. The other Mobil One "synthetic" oils contain ingredients that don't qualify it as being marked as a true synthetics in Europe markets and their oil specifications. For Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, etc. which require true 100% synthetic oil, Mobil One labels it as European Blend to minimize confusion.
I run Mobil 0W-40 Mobil One in my Z06, as well as Redline synthetic oil.
