This was my first track event in my 2016 Charger SRT 392. The track itself, Big Willow of Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA, is a lot of high speed fun. I've been on this track a few times in my 2007 Charger R/T but man, this new car is way better!

I only ran 40 laps, totaling 100 miles on the track. Averaged 5.5MPG (lol). I didn't run the final 3 sessions of the day because I was riding with others & giving them instruction. On one of my final laps the car hit 5,000 miles!

My fastest lap time was a 1:40.375. Only 20 seconds slower than the Viper ACR record. LOL

I'm live in Victorville- which puts me fairly close to Fontana & Willow Springs, which is good because they're some of my favorite tracks!

My friends and I are doing a Buttonwillow track day with that same group on 5/20.

I always wish all the haters on younoob would see vids like this, as I am so tired of hearing all the Camaro & mustlag fans claiming that Hellcats are 'straight line only' performers that 'can never hang with a ....' on a track with turns. I've seen other videos, much like yours in this thread, from actual Hellcat owners, that show these cars are quite competent on road courses, despite their high curb weight.

Next week I'm buying lowering springs & front & rear strut braces just to clean up the body roll a little bit. Still not sure if I want to do the Hellcat front & rear sway bars though.
