    Hey All,

Wanted to see if anyone on the forum can compare the internal sound of the muffler delete compared with the solo performance exhaust or other exhaust system.

I did the muffler delete last week and LOVE the sound but it is just a tid but loud for me on the inside of he car (I'm on the phone 90% of the time during my daily drive). At this point I wouldn't go back to stock but I'm hoping to find the best of both worlds.

    Thanks!

By too loud do you mean drone? Or is it just exhaust loud?

Drone. Love how loud it is when I hammer on it. The drone isn't terrible and I wouldn't go back to stock I'm just trying to find something that will give me the same sound but as little drone as possible. I need it quite when on low rpms but still want to hear it roar when I slam on it.

Dammit! I hate drone. I'm not sure if this is something I would do if there is drone.

Many simular threads on the forum, if you search it out and I'm sure you can find all the answers you want. As for me I did the mid muffler delete and love it and I don't have any drone at all while driving the car.
The inconsistency between what you're experiencing and what I'm experiencing seems to be the norm throughout the other threads. It doesn't seem likely that all cars that are made the same would have a different outcome but it appears so. But more than likely the differences in the minds and ears of men.

I agree weebz I rode in a car with the same mod and I didn't hear any drone. Like I said, I don't think it's that bad and would still do it again. After hearing how awesome the car sounds without the mufflers I'm hooked but was just trying to see if there is a better option if I was willing to spend a little more money. I don't know if it's really done or just louder but I would like it as quite as possible when on the phone cruisin on the highway.

What about putting back on a higher flowing less restrictive muffler?

I was talking with Bwoody and they were saying that the solo exhaust is almost as quite as stock with their j pipes but I don't know if anyone has been able to compare that to the muffler delete.

I am pretty sure from what I have been reading those exhausts are not going to be as loud as a muffler delete.

For those of you wth drone, how do you have your trans set up: street, sport or track?
Mine always goes to Track and I have zero drone.

Has anyone used a db meter and tried testing stock vs delete? They have free apps for your phone. I don't know how good they are but it would be nice to know the actual difference. It's hard to tell in videos.
