This is all starting to become very real, from me signing my life away at the bank yesterday to getting my sticker today and finding out my car is on the train headed this way. Is there anything you guys think I should get for the car before it gets here in a couple weeks? I'm thinking about getting WeatherTech floor mats for it but that's the only thing on my list so far.

Towels for the front seat. There may be a mess in the seat the first time you get on it.

Before driving it Get the mopar mud guards, this is a MUST.
OR YOU CAN EXPECT CHIPS ON LOWER DOORS!
Front and back, you also might want to consider 3M clear tape just behind them on the lower rockers and rear quarters!

If your state requires front plates, tell the dealer not to drill your front bumper and buy a Sto-N-Sho plate holder. Also, have your own license plate frames ready so you can get rid of the cheapo dealer advertising frame ASAP.

I'm usually the contrarian and I'll say get Lloyd Ultimate carpeted mats. Look great and protect while letting you save the OE mats. Weathertech custom mats never fit right and belong in a truck LOL.

I'll second the motion for Mopar stone guards (flaps whatever).

    Things to consider...

    • Paint protection film at least on the nose to protect from stone chips
    • Oil separator if that's your thing. I have the JLT unit and like it
    • Bail money just in case you have no restraint

Make sure you have a change of underwear, might be necessary after first time you get on it.

Maybe add a bib to that order, and some more towels so you can wipe up after people drool over the ride you give them.

Splash Guards are a must!! I have the OEM splash guards, and I love them!

I respectfully disagree about the WeatherTech mats. I understand you prefer the other brand, and that is fine, but I have been using the WeatherTechs in my vehicles for years and they have always fit like a glove. That is my experience, at any rate.

I keep a supply of Depends in the trunk for friends who want to go for a ride... Whether you have Alcantra or Leather seats, you don't want to have to clean them after giving someone a ride...

Where I live we have four seasons. Weathertech's suck. The dirt, sand and water just sit in them. Ruins your shoes and makes a mess.

Also, when I say the don't fit.... The sides don't extend high enough and there is no dead pedal coverage. Pull your Weathertechs out and vacuum all the sand and crap that gets behind them. They suck. A good carpeted mat that fits right will hold the crap and water without letting it through. Easy to clean.

If you like them that's all that matters. Many people love them I'm just not one of them. Good fit or not it also makes your interior look like a one ton dually!
