Heres the youtube video of my last run of the day at Evergreen speedway autocross on January 9th 2016 in the Challenger. First time autocrossing ever in any car. Made 12 passes, the first couple passes were somewhere in the 1.08 minute range. Fortunately a verteran evergreen racer named Josiah and then later my good buddy Dayne made some passes as passenger with me and gave me some good pointers and I was able to make up some time.
This was my best run of the day total time was scored at 1.01 minutes enough to finish 15th out of 40 cars.
haven't had this much fun with a car in a long time, the hellcat was a blast to drive around this course, I will be going again.
fastest car was a Porsche at 56 seconds

I hit 80mph in the last straight at the end of the video pretty stoked.

Evergreen autocross only has three classes-
    front wheel drive
    rear wheel drive
    and all wheel drive
This event has fairly lax rules, like for instance you can run stickerier than 200 treadwear tires if you want. and theres not a points series its just a open autocross day at each event, it goes fall winter spring
It's an independent autocross organization not part of SCCA

there was forty total cars on track including all classes

Now for my 2nd question - it was really warm enough in Washington to have an autox?

Looks like fun. I was thinking the same thing that TrackDay said above. It's cold but it looks like you had it
    completely under control;)

We have a Detroit Council of Sports Car Clubs in this area. It's a combination of about 5 clubs including SCCA that have autocrosses at various places just about every weekend during the summer. The DCSCC has some different classes than the SCCA though if you want to have more freedom. The 200 TW classes have really caught on in both SCCA and other clubs. So much so, I'm considering just getting stickier tires and running in the race tire class. There will be fewer competitors, I will go faster, and I won't risk having rubber chunks on my street tires when I leave track days. I hate trying to get rid of those.

it was a beautiful day sun was out and mid forties, the track dried out by 11 am from the freeze the night before. there was only a couple damp spots where tire stacks or a tall wall cast a shadow.
The weather we had was a blessing. The autocross will run rain or shine.

The autocross at evergreen speedway runs fall, winter, spring due to the track having to many other races going on in the summer, 5/8th oval nascar racing, a full contact figure eight, a shorter 1/4 mile oval for hobby stock cars and drag racing on the front stretch (550' drag strip). And a VERY popular drift series. the autocross doesn't pull any money from spectators for the track.
