    I have a 15 6 spd. Not really a build but..

I have gotten into the 11s but im spinning the whole way. Average mph is 123 to 124 on the summer street tires.

So for now I'm going to run a set of Welds 17x9 with Racemaster DRs, carbon fiber driveshaft and a short throw shifter.

should be fun times this season. Hopefully my traction issues will be gone for the most part.

Spinning is one thing; beware of any wheel hop with the M6 as that can turn components into shattered metal fragments. Likely scenario, however, as with most so far the driveshaft will go saving more expensive components as it appears to be a universal weak link.

I agree, thats why I want with 17x9s. I figure the sidewall will eat up most of the shock and only 9 in wide the tire is a 275 so width is around the stock width. plus its saving 30lbs over all over the stock wheels and tires. There is a method to my madness

You will need to replace the clutch with an aftermarket one if you're going to put drag radials on

I was going to ask about the clutch. Let us know if it's holds up. And good luck.

Does the shifter makes a difference? What kind of shifter do you have?

Book difference according top Hurst is 33%. Now is that 33% less throw, or 33% quicker shift? IDK, maybe i just am readfing it wrong.

As of right now Im not doing a burnout or launching on the summer street tires, best 60' so far is a 2.0 with a trap speed of 123.55mph and i forget the ET. It was high 11s if i remember correctly.

So with that i figure do the same except clearly do a burnout to put heat in the DRs. I should get much better times without a launch.

How many launches do you think it would take. I figured something else would let go before the clutch on a hard launch
