Yesterday after running some errands my 2015 Challenger Cat had a code pop up after I turned off the motor and turned on the accessories so I could finish listening to a song on the radio.
The code was P1611 and after looking on our forum others have had this issue too. It reads as an issue with the supercharger bypass valve circuit system.
I called my local dealership Ron Carter Dodge in League City and I spoke with a great guy named Danny, he gave me a number to Dodge roadside assistance at 1-800-521-2779 and told me they could tow my Cat directly to them. He also said I could personally meet their SRT mechanic Chad when I arrive.
I called the number which it was extremely easy and the lady was super friendly. The tow truck arrived within the hour, and they dropped my baby off at the dealership.
I met Danny and my service advisor Wes Shelton who I've dealt with several times in the past. They introduced me to Chad who turned out to be a really cool guy who also owns a Cat.

I picked up my baby today, they told me she needed to have the pcm reprogrammed with an update, and they updated the stereo program too.

I also had them repair a rim I curbed checked a few months ago trying to avoid an elderly woman who almost side swiped me. The rim looks great! I can't even find the area that was repaired. And I had them install my Mopar mud flaps.

So far she sounds and looks great, but I've only put a few miles on her since I picked her up, we'll see how she does tomorrow.

Updated program fixed my 1611 also. Been a thousand miles, no problems.

Still can't get the dealer to address rear tire wear and rubber on rear 1/4 panels. Been doing that since new.....

Good to hear about your code being fixed, but sucks about your other issues.

Best stores to share. Great service and great experiences need to be shared. Good dealers and SRT techs are fewer than we think.
Take care angel and I hope your cat is better than new.

Just curious. Did the car not start? Why did you have it towed?

Thanks bro, and the strange thing is I am registered with Dodge, and I've checked to see if there were any updates for my Cat a couple of times and the site always said there were none available.

The vehicle would start but I was worried about driving it and causing any damage to the engine, and when I stated this concern to the dealership they agreed.

Got it. I worry about knucklehead tow truck drivers and where they attach cables and chains.

The cat ran great today, she feels stronger, faster, and the exhaust sounds louder. When I'm driving and I let my foot off the gas pedal you can here the exhaust rumbling/popping way more than before.
