This is not a BS posting since I own both cars. And I owned the 2015 SRT Charger and Challenger and now own the 2016 Charger and Challenger Hellcats. I have received more attention and comments on my Hellcat Charger by far over my Hellcat Challenger. And it was the exact same scenario with the 2015 SRTs as well. My B5 Blue Charger received an incredible amount of attention as well as comments. And I truly believed it was because of the color. And now I own the Red Charger Hellcat and the Plum Crazy Challenger and my Red Charger has received a ton of attention and comments. I personally would have told anyone the Challenger will get so much more attention than a 4 door sedan Charger. And how wrong I am. And for all the Challenger owners here I personally think the Challenger has the badder azz look and so retro to it's inception. So not here posting a bash the Challenger over the Charger just sharing my own personal experience:rolleyes:

I have had my Challenger HC for over 3 months and have only gotten 1 thumbs up comment.....I have owned my 2013 SRT Challenger with shaker hood and lowered for over 3 years and get thumbs up almost every time it hits the roads..it just stands out with the shaker and old school raked look...I could see how your Charger gets more comments as the Charger HC looks sinister while the Challenger HC doesn't look that much different from an SE Challenger except for the hood...

I think it's because people aren't used to seeing a 4 door with so much power ;)
    Great pictures thanks for sharing.

This last summer at 90% of the car shows I had my Hellcat Charger in & there was also a Hellcat Challenger in it My Charger won an award & the Challenger did not.

All the while I was bitching about not getting Sublime Challenger that I had ordered & did NOT GET!:(

As much as I like the Challenger, it's a car that blends in and few notice it these days. There are SO MANY on the road. Going to local car shows the Challenger SP/SRT/392 cars drew little attention, while our SRT 392 Charger was always a hot car with people asking questions.

No matter where we went, the Charger drew thumbs up, smiles and questions, even people posing with it for pics. It became a game to see if we could drive anywhere without people saying something. It's not the car to get if you want to blend in.

I certainly get why the Charger is an attention getter! Especially Rockin the Red

I got 3 thumbs up and a parking lot conversation this past weekend.

Thanks...it was for a Halloween themed show. My son keeps that trophy in his room and the head is in the trunk of my Jeep! Sorry the SRT 392 is gone, but the Hellcat will be done the same way and same colors. I can't imagine the attention it will bring, but that's part of the fun. My friend traded his M5 for Hellcat. No one EVER commented on the M5. Different story for the Hellcat.

I'd have to say a lot of that is probably the colors.
In your 2015's the B5 Blue will stand out WAY more than the Black in the Challenger, which just blends in and is hard to see what version of Challenger it is.
Your 2016's is similar but different. The Red is just a big FIRE on the road, always stands out and is well loved. Purple is well, umm not that popular and well, is a very niche taste in color. For example, I'd never own the Purple.

When I first got my Hellcat last March I couldn't drive it anywhere without thumbs ups, people rolling their windows down to comment on it, kids waving, etc.
Nearly a year later, I'd say 25-30% of the time I go somewhere with it, I'll get at least one thumbs up, but I catch people all the time, cranking their necks around to take a look, or coyly holding up their cell phones to snap a picture, or passengers in other cars looking at the car front to back.
The Hellcat in Graphite Metallic with the black wheels and tinted windows looks sinister, and doesn't blend into the landscape as much as the all black car does.

Lastly a small part of it for you, may just be the rarity of the Hellcat Charger. There are like 1/4 as many as there are Challenger Hellcats, so it could be that people have seen a few Challenger Hellcat's already on the road, but have never seen the Charger Hellcat yet on the open roads.
I've only seen 1 Charger Hellcat but have seen 3 other Challenger Hellcats out and about. Still a rare sight for most in most parts of the country.
It's just still great we still get some attention 1.5 years after the Challenger Hellcat came out.
People who are just getting their Hellcat's now or in the past couple months will never get to experience the level of attention the cars got a year or so ago.
    Nice pics too.

I think the Chargers are more rare then the Challengers. They produced under 1,000 for the Chargers and well over 1k for the Challengers. ANd personally I think the body lines on the Charger are just sexier & more aggressive seeing as how they had more room to work with.
