I understand that nobody got allocations for February but why didn't my dealer get any allocations at all? If they had 4 orders why would they not get allocations for those ordered cars?

It all depended upon the allocation rules.

Initially, allocations were initially based upon a dealership's last 90-days of Dodge sales. It is this same reason why there are a lot of orders waiting since September...

None the less, the initial allocation plan and the intent to prevent dealership markup is a big planning failure considering $14.5 million in customer sold orders haven't been fulfilled and there are delivered, unsold Hellcat Challengers sitting on dealership lots; many which were ordered after a lot of those customer sold orders.

They didn't sell enough cars in comparison to other dealerships. Even some of the largest dealerships have only received 1-3 allocations. I know of 1 dealership that received 6 cars since September and have been selling them North of $75,000 each.

sahak - I don't understand why you are having difficulty understanding the current facts as rayzazoo and others have tried to explain to you. NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE including the dealer can predict the number of allocations they will get the rest of '15 build year. Right now, the latest criteria has been published on the forum and very few dealers received allocations this month because many dealers had cars sitting on their lots over 4-days OR they have a Cat order that is C-status or higher. You can either search current dealer inventories in an attempt to get one at MSRP (may take a few weeks of negotiations back and forth) or wait until the March allocations and try and get lucky with a dealer that actually has one.

Going by the latest criteria it doesn't make sense that there would be less allocations this month. It should be the opposite, there will be more dealer allocations since nobody will get more than one. What I question is why the order date is still not being factored in at all.

More troubling is that the new plan seems like a very poor way to address the sold cars issue. For example it sounds like you need a VIN by July/August to have a good shot at getting a 2015 Hellcat. That leave 5-6 more months to get a VIN and under the current system no dealer will get more than 1 every other month. Which means if you are further down your dealers list than #3 you are not getting a Hellcat.
