my 17 year old daughter took it to pick up her boyfriend. His mom works for a dodge dealer as a sales person never seen a hellcat. She had the red key no valet. I trust her 100% knows no one but her drives it but her.

Pretty sure she has more experience with high powered cars than most owners of them do. :)

I guess you don't trust your children. I respects cars.she respects cars Works for the police dept so one screw up no job. Has a 3.9 gpa plays soccer in the band. Every birthday wants presents donated to less fortunate kids or dog shelter.

Plus she has raced snowmobiles. Motor cross and ATV's. And drives the 600 hp jeep all the time even in the snow. And the 1000 hp GN's so this little 700 hp car is like her dart to her

Same can be said for a 140hp Honda....

If she can respect it, no issue. Whether someone is 17 or 67, if they don't respect the 707hp they can kill themselves and/or others. I see little difference.

I love parents that think, because their child has great marks, are responsible, etc they won't get into trouble with a car like this.

More power to ya dad, probably an awesome feeling making your daughter that happy but I've seen this scenario play out already.

Local girl drove all manner of racing vehicles since she was little, moved up to professionally racing a rocket car down the track. Same description as your daughter... Yeah, she's dead now.

    Crashed, died at age 17.

Good luck being the 'cool dad' though as I genuinely don't wish that upon anyone.

World s fastest female dies in dragster accident

Something to think about. She can be as responsible as hell but at the end of the day, she's a 17 year old kid and sometimes kids make mistakes (not saying adults don't, but kids don't have that life experience most of us fall back on)
