Okay...whew!!! I thougt it was just me that wasn't getting decent traction and I figured it was just because I haven't figured out how to drive my car. I'm glad others feel the horsepower is beyond the tires capabilities. I can't wait till y'all figure out what the heck we need to get the car down the road!!!

Many have mentioned MT. Are you just switching out the rear or all 4?

I don't know, but I did not want to assume anything. I know they wouldn't be wide in front, but some are fussy about tread on front and back. Just wanted to confirm if stock tires were staying on front or another size mts...:)

We can run DRs in the back, and keep our stock rear tires for the front

Check out my Hellcat. I just added the custom made wheels and the manufacturer, Triumph Performance Wheels, shot these videos and a recent car show. Those are Nitto 315/35R20s Drag Radials on my new 10.5 in wide rears and the original tires up front. I haven't taken it to the track yet but, without a burn-out to make them sticky, I can spin them from 2nd gear and 3rd if I'm really all over it. I ran 3.3, 0-60 and a 7.23 @ 98.7 MPH at Irwindale Raceway's 1/8 mile track with the stock tires deflated to 25 lbs. Blew the drive shaft a few days later at Fontana's 1/4 mile track on the first run of the day.
