My Charger Hellcat overheated while cruising down the highway. It caught me off guard as I was just driving with cruise on. Now I'm completely dead on side of road. It may be done for as I hate to fight to get it off the highway! It will not restart.

Cardude...sorry to hear this. I'm sure you will find out more pretty soon once it gets to your dealer. Let us know the outcome and hopefully it is a minor/quick fix. Thanks for keep us in the loop.

How hot? Did you see steam? Did you smell anything? Is there any battery power? What's it look like under the hood?

I was driving down the highway, and the a/c got hot, so I looked down and it says engine hot (or something). I tried to get off the highway before the temperature gauge was pegged on "H". After the car cooled down it did restart. And will run for a while till it started creeping back up. There is coolant boiled out of the larger overflow tank (driver's side). My car has 530 miles.

With the AC on does the coolant fan come on? Don't let car go over 225 degrees.

"Let" is a hard one to control. I couldn't get out of the traffic to turn the car off. My safety is more important than my car's engine! Can't stop on the highway in the middle lane!
