Drove the hellcat to memphis this weekened. On the way home I put the nav on (used it all the way to memphis with no problem).

On the way home the nav showed i was offroad miles and miles from where i was. I checked it several times and the same thing. My car icon moved as I drove but it was never near where i was actually. Even after turning the car off and back on.

I drove it today and forgot to check it.

    Any ideas?

My son's 2012 Journey did the same thing not long after he bought it. The NAV would show him about 100' off the road. Didn't do it all the time. The dealer flashed it and never had that issue again.

it may be set on Canada GPS somehow.. just a thought.. make sure you check your regional settings.. (not sure if this will help you or not i have had it happen before on a different vehicle and that was the cause)

My nephew's GPS on his smart phone lead us to a dirt road that ended at a river. So it happens

Been there though not with this car. I was at a car event a few years ago in Ohio. Was trying to find the event at a Hotel near Columbus. My old Tom Tom Took me to the middle of a corn field and said I had reached my destination? Had to make a phone call and get directions. I was ten miles off.

I had a stand alone Garmin unit that did the same thing. A software update cured the problem.

The software on our Nav system is made by Garmin. The Nav system in my 2014 Ram truck worked a lot better than the system in my Cat.

Stupid question from a computer flunky. Do you need a subscription to Uconnect to use the nav system? If so why bother? My phone has nav. Not giving my credit card to those thieves Serius is scum too.

ok i guess the nav had time to think about it and decided to show me my actual location again. I didnt change anything. i just started the car up again after it was shut off for a few hours and everything was fixed. a glitch I guess.
