Brought my car to dealership early this morning to get the oil change done and my service manager says she checked her system with my VIN and there are no official notices sent to them in the system yet. So I guess I'll check back in a few weeks

    This is in regards to:

    1) transmission flash
    2) fuel line hose

I'd have them check the fuel line since you were there.

if yours was built on or before October 4th, 2014, it may be a candidate for P74 (instrument cluster flash) recall.
TSB 21-009-15 (TCM flash) applies to vehicles built on or after july 21st, 2014 and on or before January 9th, 2015.
R07 (fuel leak) recall has not been launched yet.

Thanks! Service manager says she won't do any fixes or even check unless the recall is in the system. So I'll check back in a month

Hellcatdotclub If she says she will not check for fule issue(s) that is a safety infraction so says Dodge. Ask to see her boss or General Manager see if she changes her tune as far as safety check. I can explain more in detail but it would take some time. Retired auto/truck mech. 50 years hands on.

But if you only ask about recalls that's different than saying I smell fuel. Handing them a note about a pending action doesn't mean anything either. Let's not start an issue yet. Retired dealer Tech and Corporate Technical Service Leader 38 years total.

    HCDC she is correct;)

although that is probably the proper procedure for a recall that hasn't been launched yet, I would have at least taken a peek at the fuel rail to put the customer's mind at ease. no need to have the customer needlessly worry when a 5 minute inspection can alleviate the customer's apprehension..

I'm not disagreeing with that but we weren't there and by the manufacturer if you check for open recalls and nothing shows you can't spank them for not going the extra mile.

Yeah she didn't want to have to pop the supercharger or its surroundings since she didn't know what is involved but she only knew the fuel line is right buried in there somewhere by the engine

Went to the dealer yesterday to at a minimum, get them to visually check it. I had half the service department standing around my engine bay with their noses 4 inches from the heads sniffing for fuel. Well except for one guy who I wouldn't let near due to the chain wallet and big buckle. Funny as hell, should have taken a pic.

They wouldn't take the covers of off or anything like that due to nothing in the system. ..
