I had the pleasure of being the first Hellcat Charger to run a new 2016 CTS-V. Def a sweet looking car in person and it uses the LT4 platform with a 1.9L blower just like the new C7z (640hp/640tq). The weight comparison was 4100lbs to the Charger's 4500lbs but me and my buddy weighted quite a bit more than the owner and his passenger (500lbs to maybe 300lbs wet lol). You gotta love being a car enthusiast right now with these powerful 4door grocery getters!! Enjoy....

Awesome TxBoosted. I am not a lover of the CTS-V looks. What this proves is that 640/640 is not measured the same way that Dodge measures 707/650. Good job my friend.

Gotta love a company car that runs 11s consistently.
At least that's why I bought mine. I may need to transport clients quickly!

Since I have not driven mine in nearly two months now, thanks for the review lesson on how hard it pulls.

Who really believes the hellcat actually puts out 707? Everything I read the hellcat is close to 750 or more. Chevy's dyno close to their rated power, and so does Ford, sometimes they actually have less power than rated (don't forget about the 1996-2002 cobra fiasco). Therefore Ford and Chevy will need to bring ALOT more than what they currently have in their lineup or proposed future vehicles to beat a hellcat.

Every dyno I have seen including mine indicates more like 750. Agree.

    * Been waiting for this race as well, smiled seeing the 'Cat just pull, TY for the kill vid!!!
    * Yet I thought I saw a temp tag on the Caddy, & speculate the car was not fully broken in & the driver was pro'ly not fully acclimated - More vids will be posted.

I'm jealous. TXBoosted you are so lucky man. You get all the likes on Instagram and you got to race a CTSV first. Good runs man! I hope I can get in some runs with one sometime soon.

What???? The outcome was as expected. 707 hp is more than 640. I would expect the HC to pull on the CTS.

The Hellcat Charger has roughly the power to weight ratio of 6.50HP per pound, vs the CTS has a roughly power to weight ratio of 6.40 lbs. which is very close, therefore the race should have been ALOT closer given that a highway run like that is mostly a HP power race. This to me just proves that the HC is pumping out WAY more power than 707, whereas the CTS is real close to its stated 640.

Or the CTS-V is putting out WAY less power than stated.

I wonder which car has the better aerodynamics, as that can also play into the race as well.
