Just want to make sure that this is a thing, if you didn't get Nav with your cat originally, you can go to a dealership and for a fee they will upgrade the software to include Nav? Also how's everyone's opinion of the HK audio? Wondering if I should just be preparing to rip the stock subs out or not.

Mixed reports. Some folks systems sound good, like mine, with excellent tight bass, others systems sound mediocre or worse. Perhaps these amps were slapped in, without any adjustments, and some folks weren't set with the right gain?

Mine sounds great...no complaints...and yes, the dealer can add NAV after you get the car for a fee.

Any dealer can add nav. It is a software update. Love the sound of my HK, but doesn't get loud enough. Especially notice the lack of volume when windows are down.

Volume isn't great, could use a little more ooomph. The sound quality isn't great either. Hopefully an upgrade will help out.

The HK sounds ok to me. I have not found the "sweet spot" on the equalizer yet.

Audio quality is certainly subjective, and some may like it, but as more and more people receive their Hellcats, more and more people are stating how the system is inferior, especially in the Chargers. As the system was included in the Challengers, those owners did not need to pay the extra $2k for this system and perhaps that's a reason why some either like the quality or simply don't give it much thought.

However, if you're not happy with the HK system, send an email to Ralph at [edited for privacy] with your findings and thoughts. He told me while there has been some concern over the audio quality, there hasn't been too many people reporting it. Please take the time to send him an email. Title it "Harman Kardon Audio Group FM/SXM Issues - Challenger Hellcat" and hopefully with enough feedback, something is done.

You won't receive a response. If you do, play the lottery that night.

Save yourself a trip to the dealer and order your nav from the comfort of your living room. Also dealers will hate me for posting this as they charge 600+ for this simple software activation. If you do it yourself it will cost $500 plus applicable local taxes. My friend did this on his Manual HC which he ordered without the nav but later regretted that decision and enabled it talking to an agent on the phone, while watching football in his rec-room...lol.

    Here is the link: http://www.driveuconnect.com/pdf/RA3_Online_Activation_Instructions.pdf

I only accept beers as a thank you gesture...lol just kidding..:D:)

Thanks for the info everyone! Looks like I'll just have to see with the audio. Getting the challenger so can't not get it. Definently going to try doing it myself, that'll save a tank or two worth of gas money!
