Am I alone in feeling a little insecure not having a spare tire/wheel? Back in '05 I was driving from Phoenix to L.A. in my Cobra Mustang, the left front tire blew and I pulled over quickly, here comes the perfectly round, stripped off tread rolling by my parked car at about 10 MPH. What good is a slime pump or a plug kit going to do in a case like that? I called AAA they didn't show until I had done the work myself. The donut wouldn't work on the front because I upgraded the brakes to Brembo calipers. So, of course, I did the switch (110* heat) rear to front donut in the rear. Pain in the arse.

I don't want to get caught out in the desert ever again without a spare.

Some of us must have bought replica wheels here on the forum. I am looking for exact OEM size, offset and bolt pattern info so I can buy a perfect replacement wheel for a spare. The wheels on my car are the 20x9.5 SRT matte black forged wheels.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I feel the same way Robo21, take a look on CARID (that's where I found one. There are also some on ebay around $200 to 250 a wheel. Hope this helps.

You could put on the PZero runflat tires if you don't mind the rough ride. That's what most vehicles that don't have spares come with. The Jeep SRT8 has runflats and a temp spare that only fits the rear due to big brembo brakes.

Yes, thanks very much, I saw those on CARID, I take it the quality looks good and it balanced just fine? I notice they offer two different offsets there for the Hellcat. Which one did you get?

Runflats are an option, thanks for that suggestion, they came standard on my Z06 where I ran them on the street so I am familiar with the ride. They were somewhat more expensive too.

    Thank you!
Great info there, that gave me what I needed to move forward with the order of Topline Replica from CARID. They tell me the cast wheels weigh considerably more than the OEM forged wheel. But for just a spare it really is not too much concern. The peace of mind will be well worth the effort.

I just checked, they do meet load. 1600lbs. Good to go!

I will check the load capacity and I'll be using one wheel only of this type for a spare, no track use no high speed, just like a donut spare but better looking and a lot safer. No spacers, etc.

Topline offers a Lifetime Limited Warranty, I think it will be fine for a spare.

Do a search on the web for performance spare. They were working on a spare tire for a Hellcat/Camaro (drilled for both). Comes with a jack and spare tire. The Spare is a space saver sort of but is speed rated etc. Won't look very good but will get you off the highway.

Nuts, this would have been perfect if it would work fit front & rear both. Thanks very much for the suggestion though.

They used my previous Hellcat to do measurement and test fit. They have to use a spacer to be sure to clear the calipers. It will fit front and rear and they used them in a kit for older SRT vehicles. They were even considering a bag for the tire as it would sit in the trunk area.
