    Hello Everyone one:

New here in this site. Please do not flame me just yet and I am sure I am not the only one that has this issue but I did some searching and can not find answers only that others have issue too.

    My Issue:

2015 hellcat challenger - RADIO SUCKS

Has trunk full of speakers etc but really really lacks in volume ! Dial goes to 35. Either I am way more deaf than I believe or something ain't right here. With all the crazy features the car has this is the radio you
get ? Volume wise ?? So - is there a fix ? Or is the answer - you did not buy it for a radio, idiot !

    Thanks

You didn't look very hard. Click on New Posts. There are at least 2 threads. Good news is there seems to be a fix.

Base radio sucks but the HK system on my 392 blew me away. Never got close to 35. Are you listening to Satellite or aux?

It does suck, I have not done my update yet but is now my Saturday project, I plan to figure out how to download the update to a memory stick and update the firmware in my radio.
I checked my Vin # and mine needs an update. Folks say it improves the sound.

I did look but have difficulty following when people stay radio types by some number code. I have only had my hellcat a few days and have only driven it to the window tint place so far. I bought it used with a 1000 miles on it and have not fully read - actually read - any of the books I was just playing with it and tuned in a radio station and turned it up and was disappointed.

So there is possibly a download / update for this low volume issue ?

i just got all the updates last week and i notice no radio difference...my 2011's high end radio sounded like AM it was so bad...i thought it might be missing the antenna

the HC stereo is much better, but still very unimpressive....

its never going to sound good.....this complaint is now 1 year old and i didnt hear of a change for 2016's
