image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Hi everyone I have a m6 cat. I'm gonna be doing a lot of mods to it. Basically getting drivetrain done first and radials. Last night installed the dss axles and 20 drag radials Micky Thompsons. Next step is clutch and rims 18x10s and tires. Going to track on Thursday hopefully make manual owners proud. Let you guys know how I do. I have a oil catch can and bwoody intake coming check in. I'll post thoughts on parts as they are installed thx. Also tip on drive shaft remove heat shield will cause noise only there to protect bearing in 2 piece oem.

Did you get rid of the heat shield in one area? I'm having rubbing noise and wondering heat shield is causing it since it's sitting on exhaust pipe.

Heat shield not required. Only there to protect OE Drive shaft center bearing

Thanks guys.. I'm gonna get under the car tonight since that dang noise bugging me.. But it only happens once in while... I had a doubt on it but after reading and talking to few other guys... seems like I might have found my rubbing issue.

I'd just get rid of it. Doesn't have any function. I messed with it but still clearance was so tight
