Hey everyone, been weighing my options over and over and over and finally settled on a Challenger Hellcat because I just cannot justify the extra money for a Z06. This looks like a good forum and I am WAAAY jealous of those that have their Hellcats.

One question. Any ETA on the sunroof or Satan black hoods? I'm buying this for my 35th birthday this July, really hoping these are available by then.

Hey there, welcome. I was in Nashville last June. Great city. The sunroof is MAYBE summer time frame, maybe. Satin black hood is MAYBE February or March. Don't hold your breath waiting for either. If you want a Hellcat, go order one today. You can paint the hood later. Don't pay over MSRP for a car. Don't let the dealer BS you that they are rare or anything. Call around, ask how many people are on their waiting list ahead of you (if any). They will all say sure give us money, they might not all be able to actually order or deliver a car. Check the thread for dealers to avoid.

Thanks for that. I would never pay over MSRP, so no worries there. My dealer told me back in Nov that they were doing them at MSRP, plus I think as time goes on it will become a more infrequent occurrence to see dealer mark-ups. I plan on doing an order probably around Feb/Mar. Do you have a ballpark on build times by chance? When I ordered my Mustang back in 2012 it was 6-weeks, so I assume this will be similar.

From order time to delivery can be anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. With this car, no one can tell you.
