    Hey All,

Just joined the forum and wanted to say that this community is awesome and that I'm learning a lot. I recently sold my 2013 GTR and am ready to get into a Hellcat! I want to order a 2016 but it seems the dealers in California are marking up cars by $15K to $20K (I've spoken to 10 plus dealers so far). Any insight anyone could provide regarding an honest dealer willing to order a car that isn't trying to bend the buyer over would be extremely helpful. I'd even consider buying the car from out of state as I had to do the same thing when I purchased my GTR because of the ridiculous ADM dealers in California where tacking on to the GTR's MSRP.

Again this is a great forum and thanks in advanced for any assistance or advice you can provide!!!!

    Thanks!!!

    Welcome.
That sucks about the ADM. I would like to order a 2016 myself. Not for a crazy ADM though. There are some threads on here about leads and dealerships that have good deals.
    Good luck!

    Welcome

air fare is cheap right now there are plenty of dealers all over the country that can hook you up and you can do your break in drive on your way home.

The last two posts say it all. 16s are SCARCE right now. More 15s to choose from. I scooped mine up from an Autotrader ad. Yes, paid some ADM, but not what you've come up against.

Hang tough, dig, stay flexible to travel, potentially some ADM and the possibility of a 2015 model. Private sales are possible, but there's mark up, usually, there too. Stay engaged and you will find it. Very little model year changes (electronics, mostly, from what's been reverberating around the forum), and a new color or two.

WE WANT TO KNOW WHEN YOU HOOK A BIG CAT...so let us know!

Thanks you all for the tips. I plan to call several dealerships tomorrow morning in the Midwest. Again, I don't mind buying out of state as I would just have the car shipped back to California. I had to do the same with my GTR. I'll report back tomorrow morning to let you all know what I dig up.

Welcome, So Cal. Brother. If you don't mind me asking, from what part of So Cal are you located?

Forget trying to find a dealer in CA selling at MSRP.

The lemon law here in CA is pretty liberal. That is the main thing you are losing by not buying the car here. I've had to use it before, on a Chrysler product, and for that reason I won't buy out of state.

I'd just start getting in touch with all of the FCA dealers in the State and see where it takes you. Then you can make a decision to search elsewhere.

Welcome from SoCal. It is pretty hard finding a dealer around here at MSRP or close to it. Keep looking out of state and keep your options as flexible as possible. Check in with the forum as leads are being posted almost daily. Good luck and thanks for joining us.;)

Check cars.com. See who lists the price as MSRP and who have a mark-up. Call the MSRP dealers and see about ordering. In a few months, when production ramps up more, you will see a lot of the ADM go away.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

From what I have heard here on the forum from other Cali members, you might hafta shop around out of state to find a better deal on a HC. I wish you the best of luck!

Hey guys did some calling today and got a response from Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Vegas. They have a white Hellcat coming next week. I was interested until the sales guy sent me a quote with a $20k adm on the car. Total price was $93k plus ttl. I told the sales guy I'll pass......so the search still continues
