New to forum here. Anyone have great ideas/experience on:
    • Lowering the car .5 inches... can it be done... will it affect warranty
    • Widest/Stickiest rear tires you can fit on stock rims and within current wheel wells.. (not slicks)
    • THANKS!

I don't know if anyone has started a lowering thread...I'd be interested in that. Not sure if it will void warranty. Possibly, depends on how it's lowered. If it's only aftermarket springs, I doubt the dealer would notice as long as they were the same color...if not the same color, have them powder coated.

As far as tires (and lowering), do a search on here. There are a few 'how wide' tire threads on here as well as 'stickiest'. The search here works pretty well.

There was someone that was working with Eibach on the springs with a goal of 1". With the car being pretty low, I am not sure if that is his final answer or not. I have not seen any more comments on that so, I am guessing it is still a work in progress. They said the different settings on the shocks was not an issue, but that was my first concern. There is a thread on tires and quite a bit has been done experimenting with tires and still quite a bit to do while we wait for the weather to warm up.:)

I'd say lower the front...or raise the rear. A muscle car should have a 'rake', lower in the front. Stance set's the attitude of a car. Stance and wheels. A Pacer with the right stance and wheels might even look cool. Those are the two most important appearance mods, in my opinion...stance and wheels (style, width, finish). You can take a plain-jane car. 5 different color fenders, some primer, and put the right wheels and stance on it...and it's a whole new car, different 'attitude'.

True that! That's why my POS has to have the same bolt pattern as my Charger so I can put my 20" chrome rims on it! Everything is better with 20s! Lol;)

Just checked with local tire store... they were confident that 305's would be fine on the 9.5 rims... I will be taking it over... they will measure to make sure... if so will go Pirelli P Zero 305's in back if all checks out ... has anyone done this and noticed difference yet? Anyone? Bueller?

The problem isn't the size as 275 and 305 isn't that big of a difference but rather what type of tire ... P zeros just don't cut it for this car
