New to forum here. Anyone have great ideas/experience on:
    • Lowering the car .5 inches... can it be done... will it affect warranty
    • Widest/Stickiest rear tires you can fit on stock rims and within current wheel wells.. (not slicks)
    • THANKS!

Lowering will not void the whole warranty -- only way something would be voided is if you have a suspension issue and the aftermarket part(s) can be proven to have caused the problem. Lowering can be accomplished by lowering springs or adjustable coilovers. If the lowering springs keep the factory spring rates you shouldn't need to swap shocks -- otherwise you may need to. Traditional coilovers include the shocks, but some 'cheaper' setups called 'sleeved' coilovers only provide ride height adjustment and may need different shocks. Lots of options out there but I don't know of anything Hellcat specific yet, and it does have different spring rates, at least in the front for sure due to the additional weight of the engine and fluids.

Widest tire on a stock 9.5" width rim I'd recommend is probably 295 - or a 305 from Nitto since they run narrow. Anything wider is pushing it and will just stick out way far from the edge of the rim, plus even though the tire is wider due to the improper sizing you wouldn't get a great contact patch.

I think someone on CT is running a 315 Nitto on a stock rim, but that's pushing it too far in my opinion. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Nice answer tsc! Jaybird just put 305 Nittos on the back and don't lower the thing.

Thanks... prevailing info is 305's for now... will keep looking for anyone testing/trying something else... want to stay fast and sticky... but also want end result to be safer...

Just checked with local tire store... they were confident that 305's would be fine on the 9.5 rims... I will be taking it over... they will measure to make sure... if so will go Pirelli P Zero 305's in back if all checks out ... has anyone done this and noticed difference yet? Anyone? Bueller?
