Well I've just hit around 5000 miles since I put summer tires on and my rear Pirelli P Zero's are almost bald. Zero burnouts and mostly minor tire spin on takeoffs. Nothing crazy. Fronts seem ok. What a crappy tire.

So.. I'm looking for tires with ultimate performance and traction that are safe for the highway and rain and the best mileage out of them with minimal to zero wheel spin (if it exists). This is my daily driver. I've been looking at Nitto's and Mickey Thompson's, but both are not for highway and not good in wet.

    What should I get? Thanks!

Use the search feature on this site... Tons of threads regarding tires here.

You might consider an alignment before new tires. My wifes Charger Ralley came from the manufacturer mis-aligned. Dealer said it had become a concern. Her rear tires were cupping. They had found a few Chargers mis-aligned. No mention of Hellcats specifically.

I have used the search feature. Most are Nitto and Mickey Thompson threads.

    Buy the oem pirelli :

We all drive a car with twice the performance of a normal car, with outstanding acceleration. Where the rubber meets the road, you've got to consider all weather conditions, performance and longevity.

Do you really think a team of 20 or more FCA Engineers who spent weeks looking at the weight of the Hellcat, plus the performance of the supercharged engine would put a second class tire on this car?

Most guys here tracking and doing burnouts have under 10 k miles on their rear tires before throwing on DR, which they wanted in the first place. If you want to stay under 130-150 mph and like to have the stickiest tire for pure acceleration and occasional track use, the DR's are a solid alternative to the stock tire. But things can go south in a hurry on the street particularly in rain with DR, so it's up to where YOUR PRIORITIES are.

    Choose wisely young knight....

Were you doing rotations at 4k intervals? If not, then 12k miles isn't bad at all. You saying the fronts are in much better shape makes me think no rotations. This means the faster wearing are going to not get evened out with the slower wearing. If you rotate, you should get another few thousand miles out of a set.

Any performance tire is going to wear out quicker than an all season, or other high treadwear tire. The nittos are basically a street legal race tire. Grip will be amazing, but longevity will not.

You want a tire that dead hooks that also is good for rain, and lasts a long time? Let me know if you find a god like tire that does it all. All joking aside, I have a nice thread about this that will help you decide on the tires that meet your needs. I forget the title, but it's like, "not one tire does it all-drag radials and more". Or something like that. If it doesn't go into enough detail let me know and ill add info or answer any questions you have. I'm fairly certain I went into very specific details though.
