    Breaking News

The Dodge Hellcats are so hot they got suspended Fox News

Did y'all see this coming? I thought the insiders would have posted this news before it hit the national media.

I'm trying to understand the implications.

Long as it doesn't take months to "get things in order" like it takes them to do everything else. They could turn taking lunch and a leak into a 3 day event.

ya old news, that article makes it sound like they aren't going to sell anymore when in reality, they are just catching up on what's already sold. Shutting down the ordering system doesn't equal a halt in selling cars.

Apologize for interfering with the discussion. I have been pot of pocket for a week and missed all the discussion regarding the announcement. So, if I have a VON/BX (since Nov 1st), I should not be worried?

I think you should be happy...I am...knowing that they can focus more on getting these cars built before production ends mid Sept. Hopefully those of us in VON/BX won't have to get in line again when order banks open up on Aug.25 for 2016 orders. My guess is once they clean up duplicates , they will better be able to allocate parts and options as the list gets smaller. I am hopeful FCA doesn't want to carry over any 2015's to 2016.....but who knows.

Snappycat , honest question. After all of this, you would get back in line?

I know I wouldn't, and if you do that's your decision. Just curious

Tig......who knows? I guess the Q is how bad do we want our HC's? I got in late 2/12/15 with my VON, but I can only imagine those who have been in since 9/9/14. Lets say I really want a HC and the whole allocation system is still in place/messed up for 2016...I would probably be more open to doing 3-5K over MSRP and buying one off the lot rather than waiting 6+months. Sometimes I envy those who got a cat at MSRP or even slightly above, for they have dodged...pun intended...the VON Hell so many of us are in. Thanks for asking.

thought it'd be at the dealer today for pickup, but still on the train in Spring (like 6 miles from the railyard since Saturday...so close I can taste it). Suppose to be at the railyard tonight. I spoke to Devin on Friday and today. He's going to call the railyard to try and get it out of there as soon as they can, so I should have it this week (pending no damage from transport).

That's good that they are prioritizing orders that were placed months ago, I give them credit for that. I just hope this doesn't dwindle my chances of getting one

They already do, because the workers have to have an allocation to use the bathrooms.

Im sure the people that work on the production line are doing there part to get us our cars, shortages on parts is not the line workers fault.I am a Little far down on the list ,but I believe I will get my cat along with everybody else.I hope that everyone that has 1 on order gets there car the day before I get mine.Good luck to all,it is very hard to get any info on the car or the TRUE allocation system.By them not taking any new orders we may stand a chance.Again to all that have orders in VON I hope you get a VIN as soon as possible.Lets try a little positive energy and see if it helps,it surely cant do any harm.
